Brief Introduction:

Cynthia Tai

I have got a Bachelor Degree of Business Management and now, I’m study management again because I like management and I think management is the combination of art and science. It’s extremely interesting and I like studying and learning.

My daddy is Indonesia Chinese and my mum is Chinese but I’ve been living in Hong Kong with my family.  I have been working at the University for the past 2 years.  My duties are office and financial administration, events organization, postgraduate programme management, brand building, external affairs etc.

I like meeting people, get connection with all people over the world and give help to each other because “we have the power of loving, because he first had love for us”.  For my leisure time, travelling, swimming, badminton, listening music and watching movies… are my hobbies.  My last trip was Australia in July last year.

Janis Chiu

I am a nice girl who are eager to learn new knowledge and try new opportunities. I am now working at an administrative position in an education institution. My main responsibilities are to supervise a small team to coordinate various postgraduate programmes and organise various events and functions. I like  hiking, handifcrafts, cooking and watching movies. By taking this course, I hope to improve my knowledge and skills in developing an effective team, resolving conflicts, influencing collaborators and preventing crises, achieving a rewarding outcome in both my career and daily life. 

Iris Cheung

I am a talkable and out-going person who like meeting people and willing to take up new responsibilities and challenges. I worked in the Hong Kong Jockey Club as a Branch Supervisor for almost three years after I graduated from University.  I am now working at administration department of a construction firm. My main responsibilities are to organize company's events and functions, clerical support of construction projects, and monitoring of staff access system. I like swimming, playing badminton, traveling, singing and listening to music in my spare time.

Our team is called Alive! 

Thanks to a healthy body, we can breathe fresh air, see the beautiful sky, taste the delicious food, smell the flower fragrant, etc. It is so amazing that how complicated our body is. Inside, there are many different organs like the heart, lungs, stomach, liver and kidneys, etc which are working in a coordinated manner every day. Each organ has its own functions and responsibilities. With the correct instruction and input, they can work properly resulting in a healthy body. Just like our team, we are having different personalities, knowledge, experiences and talents, etc, by the correct application of our competences and with good coordination, we hope to practice the essential skills of high performance collaboration via the assignments and group projects of the course and eventually apply in our lives and workplace to achieve favourable outcome.

Alive also stands for Achievement, Leadership, Interaction, Viable and Engagement. These elements comprise our team's myth.
